Why are constraints not applied to the tables?

This doc is for: Admins Architects

This FAQ applies to using Heap Connect for warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) only.

Primary and foreign key constraints are not applied to the Heap Connect tables because Amazon Redshift does not enforce constraints.
